These automobiles are absolutely great looking and have been revealed in a city which is known for head-turning events, Los Angeles. This afternoon, the new 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible was shown at the annual L.A. Auto Show which is being held in front of many at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Three pertinent adjectives are being used to describe this car; wider, longer, and lower and it is absolutely more aggressive than previous models. This car can come to you equipped with a couple of different types of engines from which you can choose; the 2.0 Litre Turbo engine or our 2.5 litre and both of them can be pushed by either a 5 speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The car is equipped in bona-fide fashion when it comes to electronics and other standards. First of all it has an 8-speaker sound system. (If you are wavering on going all out with the stereo, take a look at our post which refers to Volkswagen’s partnership with high-end audio company, Fender.) You are going to get front seats which can be heated, a media device interface with a iPod cable, cruise control, Bluetooth technology, and a convertible top that can open in 9.5 seconds.
You can expect to get 41 miles per gallon on the highway and by all reports that number makes it the most economical convertible to roll the roads.
